Your art is printed using sublimation.
CARE: Machine wash separately in cold water. When drying, use a delicate cycle and tumble dry on low. Do not bleach. Do not iron, press with heat, or dry clean.
INSTRUCTIONS on how to send your image. Please follow these instructions to get a good quality image on your blanket. You can scan or send us a picture of your work, whichever gives you the best image quality. The ideal image size has to be at least 2600 x 3200 pixels or close. The bigger the image size, the better, especially for making a 60x80 blanket size.
1. Create your artwork on a standard size sheet of paper, 8.5x11 inches, or a similar paper ratio. We don't provide a template for the background, so whatever type of background you use is what will be printed. (For example, if you use a lined paper for your artwork, your blanket will have the lined paper as the background. A blank paper is best for artwork).
2. If you want to avoid a white frame around your blanket, we recommend extending some elements of your design all the way to the edge of your paper, knowing that some of it will get cut off. Look at examples of the scanned art of the red dinosaur drawing. the eagle and the people extend all the way to the bleed area (the edge of the paper). Artwork often extends into the bleed area to avoid a white frame around the artwork. Don't draw or write anything in the bleed area you wouldn't want to get cut off. In this dinosaur blanket, part of the feet and green hills were cut off but it was expected, the main message though, was not written near the edge, where they knew it wouldn't get cut off.
3. Scan your image or take a high-quality photo of it.
TIp: If taking a photo, take it in the daytime where you can get a lot of natural light into the picture. Do not shoot it when the sun is shining bright on your paper, we don't want any bright spots on your image. Lay your work flat, don't bend it. Shoot it looking straight at it, not angled. Focus on your image so it's sharp. Take a photo with a good camera phone (10 megapixels) or with a good camera.
5. Upload your image here.
If you have problems uploading it, email your work to us at contact@bellaandfranco.com. Do not throw away your art in case you need to retake the photo or rescan it.
